Quick take

Paradigm Peptides is closed, and the manner of its closing is the reason it still deserves a page. The storefront at paradigmpeptides.com returned HTTP 403 when we tried to load it on 2026-10-19, so nothing on the site could be read, and CBS News reports that the business shut down in March 2024. Everything we know about the company since then comes from the Department of Justice, the FDA and news coverage rather than from the company itself, and we attribute each point accordingly.

The legal entity was Paradigm R.E. LLC. An FDA letter from 2020 gives its address as 1511 N. Convent, 700-156, Bourbonnais, Illinois 60914, and the Department of Justice says it shipped from Michigan City, Indiana. The company sold vials and capsules, including BPC-157, Thymosin Alpha 1 and SARMs, to customers in all fifty states and some eighty countries between April 2019 and March 2024, according to prosecutors.

What the record shows

The owner, Matthew Kawa, pleaded guilty on December 10, 2025 and was sentenced on July 30, 2026 in the Northern District of Indiana to five years and ten months in prison; an employee, Jennifer Stechkober, received one year and four months. A forfeiture of $5 million was agreed and restitution of $78,317.52 was ordered, per the Department of Justice and CBS News.

Two findings matter most to anyone who buys research peptides. According to CBS News, the owner admitted that the company forged laboratory certificates of analysis while advertising 99 percent purity and third-party testing. And according to the Department of Justice, products sold as SARMs contained a different active substance than the label claimed, and the peptides, SARMs and other items sold were unapproved new drugs.

Before any of that, the FDA had issued a warning letter dated December 7, 2020 to Paradigm RE LLC, available at https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/paradigm-re-llc-612014-12072020, concerning claims made for a product named in the letter, which the agency described as an unapproved new drug and misbranded.

Any supplier list that includes Paradigm Peptides was written before March 2024 and should be set aside. Two websites with similar names operate today, paradigm-peptide.com and paradigmpeptides.is. Finnrick describes the hyphenated domain as a separate, recent, privacy-protected registration. Neither is the company profiled here, neither is covered by this review, and the shared name should not be taken as a connection in either direction.

The lesson for a buyer is plain and it is the reason we keep this page. A certificate of analysis is only as good as the laboratory you can verify it with. Paradigm advertised testing and showed documents, and the documents were forged. When you read a certificate from any supplier, look for the laboratory’s name and a way to check the document with that laboratory directly, and treat a certificate that cannot be verified as no certificate at all. For active suppliers whose documents can be checked against a named lab, see the rest of our reviews.

No. CBS News reports the business shut down in March 2024, and the website returns HTTP 403. The legal entity was Paradigm R.E. LLC of Bourbonnais, Illinois, shipping from Michigan City, Indiana according to the Department of Justice. Sites at paradigm-peptide.com and paradigmpeptides.is are separate operations using similar names.

Was Paradigm Peptides legit?

The record says otherwise. Owner Matthew Kawa pleaded guilty on December 10, 2025 and was sentenced on July 30, 2026 to five years and ten months. He admitted the company forged laboratory certificates of analysis while advertising 99 percent purity and third-party testing, and prosecutors said products sold as SARMs were not what the label claimed.

Did Paradigm Peptides receive an FDA warning letter?

Yes. The FDA issued a warning letter dated December 7, 2020 to Paradigm RE LLC concerning claims made for a product named in the letter, which it described as an unapproved new drug and misbranded. The letter is on fda.gov under warning letters, reference 612014.
