Understanding Research Peptide Prices: How to Compare Like for Like

How research peptide prices vary by fill, blends, format and supplier tier, with BPC-157 5 mg prices from 15 suppliers and why cheap needs a certificate.

Prices for research peptides look simple on a product page and get complicated the moment you try to compare two suppliers. The same item at the same stated fill can list at $21 or $55, and the gap says less about the material than about how the price was built. This guide explains what moves a listed price and how a lab purchaser can compare like for like.

We use one reference listing throughout: BPC-157 at a stated 5 mg fill, which is the item most suppliers in our data list and the one most buyers price-check first.

The reference listing: BPC-157, 5 mg, 15 suppliers

Atomik Labz $40.00 Mid No certificate page; 15% off for crypto
Blue Sky Peptide $42.87 Budget Sale price; regular $77.95

Prices were read from supplier pages on 2026-10-19 and change often. Read the table as a snapshot, not a quote. Forty-seven suppliers in our data have no 5 mg BPC-157 price recorded, either because the item is out of stock, listed only in other sizes, priced in another currency, or because the site did not load.

The spread is $34 between the cheapest and most expensive listing. The median sits near $47. That is the first lesson: a price well below $35 for this item is unusual, and the reasons for it deserve a look before you celebrate.

What moves a listed price

Sale price versus list price

Three of the 15 prices above are sales. Alpha Labs Peptides shows $20.99 against a $29.99 list. Blue Sky Peptide shows $42.87 against a $77.95 regular price. US Peptides shows $46.39 against $57.99. A permanent sale is a pricing style, not a discount. Compare on the price you will actually pay today, and note the list price so you are not surprised when the sale ends.

Fill size

Price per milligram falls as the fill rises, but not evenly across suppliers.

Supplier 5 mg 10 mg Saving per mg at 10 mg
Alpha Labs Peptides $20.99 $27.99 Large
Atomik Labz $40.00 $55.00 Moderate
Peptide Warehouse $52.99 $64.99 Moderate
Umbrella Labs $48.99 $88.18 Small
Core Peptides $52.00 $97.00 Small
Biotech Peptides $52.00 $92.00 Small

Peptide Warehouse also lists a 20 mg fill at $109.99. The larger fill is the cheaper buy per milligram, but a lab purchaser should buy the quantity the work requires rather than chase the per-milligram number.

Blends

A blend lists two materials in one vial at a combined price. Alpha Labs Peptides lists a BPC-157/TB-500 blend at 5 mg/5 mg for $41.99, almost exactly the price of two single 5 mg vials at its $20.99 sale price. Loti Labs lists the same blend at $79.99 against a $49.99 single BPC-157. Blends are priced for convenience. Always price the components separately from the same supplier before choosing one.

Format

Pens cost more than vials at the same stated fill because you are buying a device as well as material. Peptide Perfection lists a BPC-157 10 mg pen at $129.99 and American Research Pens lists one at $249.99, against 10 mg vials between $27.99 and $97 in the table above. Our pens versus vials guide goes through this in detail.

Supplier tier

We classify suppliers as budget, mid or premium based on where their catalog prices sit. Budget suppliers (Alpha Labs Peptides, Geo Peptides, Elite Peptides, Blue Sky Peptide) cluster at the low end of the table. Premium suppliers (Sports Technology Labs; the pen sellers Peptide Perfection and American Research Pens) sit at the top. Tier reflects overheads, positioning and sometimes documentation. It is not a quality grade on its own, which brings us to the most important point.

Why the cheapest listing is not a bargain without a certificate

A price is a claim about what you will pay. A certificate of analysis is a claim about what you will receive. Only the second one can be checked, and only if it exists.

Look again at the cheapest third of the table. Alpha Labs Peptides, at $20.99, publishes a dated public certificate library of roughly 76 documents naming Freedom Diagnostics, so its low price comes with a document trail. Elite Peptides, at $39.99, has no public certificate page in our data and publishes no email, phone or address. Atomik Labz, at $40, claims “99% Purity Guaranteed” via HPLC and MS testing but publishes no certificate page and names no laboratory. The three prices look similar. The purchasing risk is not.

A useful habit: write the certificate status next to every price before you compare. A $40 listing with no certificate is not $7 cheaper than a $47 listing with a lot-level certificate from a named lab. It is a different product category, because you cannot verify what the $40 bought.

The same applies to third-party test history. Finnrick, an independent testing aggregator, reports results for some of the suppliers in the table. For Loti Labs it reports 2 BPC-157 samples passed and 3 failed. For Pharma Grade Peptides, which has no 5 mg price recorded, it reports 0 of 2 BPC-157 samples passed in May 2025. Those are Finnrick’s findings, not ours, and they are the kind of information a price alone will never tell you.

Our public-COA list is built to make this cross-check fast.

How to compare like for like

  1. Same item, same fill, same format. BPC-157 5 mg vial against BPC-157 5 mg vial. Never a 10 mg against a 5 mg, never a pen against a vial, never a blend against a single.
  2. Today’s price, with the list price noted. Record both when a sale is showing.
  3. Certificate status. Public or not, lot-level or not, lab named or not. Use a simple yes/no for each.
  4. Shipping to your door. Free-shipping thresholds range from $0 (Enhanced Peptides, Pure Peptide Labs) through $75 (Blue Sky Peptide), $99 (Extreme Peptides, Loti Labs), $150 (Alpha Labs Peptides, Geo Peptides, Peptide Pros), $200 (Core Peptides, Koi Peptides), $299 (Peptide Warehouse) and $500 (Amino Asylum, Paramount Peptides). A $47 vial with free shipping can beat a $40 vial plus $12 postage. Core Peptides, for instance, charges $12 for USPS Priority below $200.
  5. Payment method and return terms. A card-accepting supplier with a written return window carries less risk than a crypto-only supplier with all sales final at the same price. See payment methods and buyer protection.

Run those five lines for each shortlisted supplier and the “cheapest” column stops being the deciding one.

A worked example

A lab purchaser needs two 5 mg vials of BPC-157 shipped within the US and wants to pay by card.

  • Alpha Labs Peptides: 2 x $20.99 = $41.98, below the $150 free-shipping threshold, so postage applies. Public dated certificates naming Freedom Diagnostics. Payment methods not stated on the site. Returns are store credit only, minus a 15% restocking fee.
  • Core Peptides: 2 x $52 = $104, plus $12 USPS Priority. Lot-level certificates from Vanguard Laboratory. Card accepted. Refunds may be requested up to 30 days after ordering.
  • Loti Labs: 2 x $49.99 = $99.98, just above the $99 free-shipping threshold, so no postage. Public lot-level certificates. Card and ACH accepted. Refund on unused, unopened product within 30 days.

The cheapest basket is Alpha Labs Peptides by a wide margin, but it comes with an unstated payment method and a store-credit-only return policy. The most expensive basket, Core Peptides, comes with the strongest paper trail on payments and refunds. Loti Labs lands in between on price and clears the free-shipping line. There is no single right answer. There is a right process, and it starts with the certificate, not the price tag.

For the suppliers that fail the certificate test outright, see our avoid list. For the ones that pass, our top-rated list orders them on testing first and price second.

Reader questions

What does a 5 mg vial of BPC-157 cost from a research peptide supplier?

In our October 2026 data the listed price ranges from $20.99 at Alpha Labs Peptides (a sale price; list is $29.99) to $54.99 at Sports Technology Labs. The middle of the market sits between $47 and $53, at suppliers such as Peptide Pros, Core Peptides, Biotech Peptides and Peptide Warehouse.

Why is the same peptide so much cheaper at one supplier than another?

Several reasons stack up: whether the price shown is a sale or list price, the supplier's tier and overheads, whether a lot-level certificate from a named lab backs the item, and the fill size. A low price with no certificate is not a bargain, because you cannot verify what you bought.

Is a 10 mg vial always better value than a 5 mg vial?

Usually yes on a per-milligram basis, but check the actual numbers. Alpha Labs Peptides lists 5 mg at $20.99 and 10 mg at $27.99, a large step down per milligram. Core Peptides lists 5 mg at $52 and 10 mg at $97, so the saving is smaller. Only buy the larger fill if your purchasing actually needs it.

How do I compare a blend price with a single-item price?

Add up the fill of each part and compare against buying the parts separately from the same supplier. Loti Labs lists a BPC-157/TB-500 5 mg/5 mg blend at $79.99 and a single BPC-157 5 mg at $49.99. Alpha Labs Peptides lists the same blend at $41.99 against a $20.99 single. Blends are a convenience; they are rarely the cheapest route.
